A brand-new BEATFILE release presents Paul McCartney’s legendary studio live debut on the U.S. hit TV program Saturday Night Live in 1993, featuring the complete rehearsal and broadcast performance in a newly edited edition!
Recorded on February 13, 1993, at NBC Studios in New York, the appearance was part of the promotion for his then-new album Off the Ground. McCartney performed “Get Out of My Way,” “Biker Like an Icon,” and the timeless “Hey Jude.”
The rehearsal, previously only available in mono, has now been restored and upgraded into stereo using the latest demix editing technology, making this a significant upgrade. A must-have 2025 newly edited release spotlighting one of McCartney’s classic live TV moments!
