A pair of Duron profile wall hanging chalkware ornaments, for a classic, chic interior. If you have not come across chalkware items before, they were made from plaster of Paris or formed gypsum in the 18th century originally however had a resurgence in popularity throughout the mid century modern era. Chalkware has a particular look and feel and is very popular with anyone looking to find a more vintage, retro aesthetic. 

This pairing is in good condition for their age overall, the male figurine has a more gloss overlay than the female figurine however, both have maintained the depth of colour throughout. Neither figurine has its original hanging method, as they are chalkware however, they are very light, therefore there are a variety of options for you such as small plate hangers or  picture hooks. The female figurine has sustained some damage to her ear, which has been minimally repaired therefore visually not immediatley obvious until closer inspection. This has been shown in the photos supplied however. 

Each ornament measures at approximately 15cm in total length.
