Tokyo Sidekick takes deck building, board movement, and cooperative action to a new level. Players build Superhero/Sidekick teams and move around the board representing Tokyo, handling disasters and villains alike. Players use their deck as a resource to power their actions and special moves to defeat their enemies and solve problems. Before long, the Menace arrives and must be dealt with! Tokyo Sidekick is for 2-4 players and is heavily inuenced by both Japanese culture and Western comics.

LOVE this book- great for giggles

We checked this book out at the library and my son (4 y/o) instantly loved it. We read it to my daughter (6 y/o) and she loved it too. It’s comical without being too in your face. The drawings are hilarious and you can’t help but love Duck. It’s super simple in terms of plot, but expertly silly. It’s all in the deliver of the reader so make sure you draw attention to the pictures (passage of time, facial reaction, etc), emote, and have fun with it. I would say this is great for children 4-10. And I believe most 7-8 year olds could read independently with relative ease depending on their level.
