With MERV 11, these strike a nice balance for my setup — noticeably better dust and pollen capture than basic MERV 5 or 8 filters, but without putting obvious strain on the system. The cardboard frame isn’t as rigid as some premium filters, and they’re a bit thinner than brands like Filtrete. They’ve held up fine for me during normal use, but I wouldn’t try to stretch them much past the recommended replacement interval.
