Vizenor argues that many people in the world are enamored with and obsessed by the concocted images of the Indian--the simulations of indigenous character and cultures as essential victims. Native survivance, on the other hand, is an active sense of presence over historical absence, deracination, and oblivion. The nature of survivance is unmistakable in Native stories, natural reason, active traditions, customs, and narrative resistance and is clearly observable in personal attributes such as humor, spirit, cast of mind, and moral courage in literature. In this anthology, eighteen scholars discuss the themes and practices of survivance in literature, examining the legacy of Vizenor's original insights and exploring the manifestations of survivance in a variety of contexts. Should have bought this years ago!!!
I live at the end of 25 minutes dirt road top of red Mountain, Co. On the 3rd flat in 2 weeks I ordered this kit instead of putting a spare on and driving to town 1 hour away. and knock on wood its has held going on 3 weeks. I jacked up the car, followed the instruction and wow easier then going to Big-O. Love it and told my Kids they need to get it also.

A Must-Have Emergency Kit for Every Vehicle, Especially ATVs!
I recently bought this 54PCS Flat Tire Repair Kit with Air Compressor, and I’m seriously impressed. It’s one of those products you hope you won’t need—but are SO glad to have when the time comes. Kept it in my trunk for months — used it once and it saved me
I’ve had this AUTOWN tire repair kit sitting in the trunk for several months as a “just in case” thing. I have only had to use it once, but the tools and compressor held up and it actually helped me get out of a bad spot where I didn’t have a spare tire available.
Just to be clear, I wouldn’t call this a permanent fix. It’s more of an emergency repair to get you back on the road. In my case it did exactly that. Afterward, I went to a nearby tire shop and had the tire repaired the right way.
Overall, I’m really glad I had it in the car. Just using it once has already paid for itself.
