If you've ever wanted to learn how to make your own pickles at home but you're not too sure how to get started, you've come to the right place. In this 2.5 hour hands-on workshop, you’ll learn all the tips and tricks needed to start pickling like a pro from your own kitchen. We'll discuss different types of pickles and pickling techniques, the difference between vinegars, how to adapt recipes to produce that is in season and teach you all the essential steps to safely and successfully can your jars of pickles.
Perfect for: absolutely anyone! Suitable for beginner picklers and those with some prior knowledge who want to learn a bit more. Book with a group of friends or come along solo - our workshops are informative, hands-on and fun.
What You'll Get:
- All the ingredients and equipment you need to complete three recipes in the class (a tried and tested MGB seasonal pickle, a mixed vegetable pickle of your choice from seasonal veg and a sweet pickle)
- Full recipes and canning guidelines to take home with you
- A glass of wine and some house-made goodies to snack on during the night

If you have a physical cardboard gift voucher, you will need to send us an email to book into a workshop as these are not redeemable online. Please get in touch via [email protected] with the workshop name, date and your voucher number. We will then be in touch to confirm your booking.
Please select the number of tickets you'd like to book at the checkout. All workshops are held at the My Grandma Ben eatery in Plant 4, Bowden. A reminder email will be sent a few days before the workshop.
