Buffalo Bill, 1977A Korean War infantry soldier from Chicago, Buffalo Bill was a talented jazz sax player and a welcome addition to the THC (Taylor Hippie Camp) band. A Korean War infantry soldier from Chicago, Buffalo Bill was a talented jazz sax player and a welcome addition to the THC (Taylor Hippie Camp) band.  But he was bedeviled by drink and spent much of his time at Taylor Camp drunk or hungover. Bad-tempered and anti-social, Bill was not a happy camper.

“Bill helped me build my house in Kalalau,” explained Scott Mitchell, Bill’s good friend and a Vietnam infantry vet. “Everybody from camp told me he was a mean drunk, but in Kalalau there wasn’t any booze so I never saw that Bill. I thought he was a sweet guy.  One day we hiked into Hanalei to get supplies and I bought a six-pack. We hadn’t had much to eat for days.  After two beers, Bill told me, ‘Fuck you, Scotty! Fuck you!.’  Bill grabbed another beer and staggered off toward the beach. I went to buy food. When I got back I found him sitting in a beach park garbage can passed out.”

After camp closed, Bill moved to Honolulu, met Setsuko, a wonderful woman from Japan, got sober and had a successful career as a club musician. As he explained at a Taylor Camp reunion he attended with his beautiful wife, “You know, women like you better when you’re not drunk and sloppy.”

PHOTO PRINTS
Prints are on Hahnemuhle heavyweight (315 gsm) 100% archival cotton “Photo Rag Baryta” paper, using archival inks and archival spray coating. They have a 200-year life expectancy before any deterioration of the print will be observed when stored, handled, and displayed under archival conditions.

CANVAS PRINTS
What is often called “Gallery Wrap Canvas” is a fine art inkjet (Giclee) print on canvas, with printed edges to wrap around a wooden stretcher frame, like a painting. With canvas prints, your print image is still the same size, but given a "wrap effect" around the edges to account for the thickness of the stretcher. Canvas can be rolled and shipped with no effect to the print. Your local framing shop should be able to mount the canvas to stretchers at a fraction of the cost of traditional framing, making for an overall more economical way to get fine art on your wall. The canvas is printed to wrap around a 1-inch stretcher (1.5 inches on larger sizes). Specifications will be provided with your order. Feel free to contact us if you need guidance with your canvas order.

John prints, titles, dates, and signs all of his photos.

Doesn’t work properly
The mount part was great, but I couldn’t get the charger to work. Had it replaced and it still didn’t work. Disappointing because otherwise it was great. I still use it as a mount and use a cord to charge.

An amazing charger for the car that is super fast with just contact
This wireless charger mount charges much faster than my old wireless charger and now helps me keep my phone charged throughout the day just from my commute. The mount works well in my Ford Lightning display which is similar to the Tesla as well. The ability to charge at 25W really makes it faster than even plugging it in directly with a cable. This is very helpful for quick access and making sure it is always charging. The magnet is quite strong and I have no concerns of the phone falling off at all. The maneuverability of the mount is quite robust and allows the phone to sit at whatever angle you want it to. You can adjust to the side of the monitor, all the way to the top as well with articulation for fine tuning the angle on the z axis. The phone charges about 15-20% during my 15 minute commute which is huge to keep the charge up before and after work.
