Soprano saxophonist Steve Lacy continued his early exploration of Thelonious Monk's compositions on Evidence, originally released in 1961. Lacy worked extensively with Monk, absorbing the pianist's intricate music and adding his individualist soprano saxophone mark to it. On this release, he employs the equally impressive Don Cherry on trumpet, who was playing with the Ornette Coleman quartet at the time, drummer Billy Higgins, who played with both Coleman and Monk, and bassist Carl Brown. Cherry proved capable of playing outside the jagged lines he formulated with Coleman, being just as complimentary and exciting in Monk's arena with Lacy. Out of the six tracks, four are Monk's compositions while the remaining are lesser known Duke Ellington numbers: "The Mystery Song" and "Something to Live For" (co-written with Billy Strayhorn). Edition of 500.

Misinformation!

Be aware that this does NOT ship with a class 4 gas lift. The whole reason I bought this chair was because it shows in the advertising this comes with a class 4 lift. Have contacted the seller and gotten the "we have a 1 year warranty" line. I am in the 300+ lb weight class. I have had many MANY other class 3 lifts and I know it will work as intended for about 2.5 years, and then it will slowly fail and not be able to stay up.

Nice and Sturdy. Great quality

This a very well built sturdy chair. It was easy to put together and it came very fast in the mail. I have had 2 other office chairs made by other compaines and they were nice but they both seemed a little loose and not solid enough. they all lasted less than an year. This one is solid, well built and will likely last a lone time. It is easy to adjust also. Its nice and wide also.

Great find!!

This thing rocks. I hope it lasts longer than my last gaming chair bc it was double the price. It arrived days earlier than estimated, is soft, comfortable, and really pretty. I did not love the instructions, but I figured out assembly without too much trouble. It reclines without falling over and goes up and down smoothly. My cats immediately love it, so Iβm really happy! Letβs hope it withstands longevity.
