We have found out much about the brain and its functions, but the relation of the brain to the mind still seems to elude us. We have mapped the human genome, yet the instantiation of new human life remains mysterious. We have traced our human origins through evolution, but how the first humans came to be is still obscure. Are we merely material or also spiritual? And if so, is the human hopelessly split between matter and spirit, body and soul, or is human wholeness more than just a slogan-- perhaps an ontological reality? This book explores such questions and offers some insights by retrieving the philosophical tradition of Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas.

SHRINK Wrapped. NO Customer Support.

These arrived shrink wrapped and when put down as throw rugs, are lumpy. They are a little less so after 10 minutes on air fluff in the dryer. They look nice and fit my bedroom well but Iโ€™m concerned about walking over them since I prefer a level surface that is even. Customer support does NOT exist. There appears to be a chat option but there are no responses. Reading other information, Iโ€™ve decided to try a metal comb. So now Iโ€™m waiting for that to arrive. If it wasnโ€™t so difficult to deal with the size difference, I would have simply returned them. I may still and just purchase a return container.
