Saratoga Springs singer-songwriter Michael Jerling has been making records for nearly 30 years, which means that those early albums were honest-to-goodness vinyl records. It also means that he's been making music for long enough that it's time for him to take a look back and survey his repertoire. So, yes, you could call this album a career retrospective, except that Jerling certainly isn't ready to sit back and rest on his laurels. Rather than taking the easy way out and slapping together old tracks for a greatest-hits or best-of compilation, Jerling decided to revisit some of his favorite tunes and record them anew in one of his favorite settings - that cozy little second-floor coffeehouse on Phila Street, Caffe Lena. The recording took place in a single evening's performance just three months ago on June 30, and Jerling brought along a couple of ace musicians and longtime friends - bassist Tony Markellis and keyboardist-accordionist Teresina Huxtable (who also happens to be his wife) - to back him up. And Jerling didn't skimp on the music. For the album, which clocks in at more than 70 minutes, he culled 18 of his finest original tunes full of poignant poetry, wry humor and some rock 'n' roll heart. Many of the tunes were selected by fans on his email list. The touching, small-town tribute to aging dreamers, "Bush League Hero," is the oldest tune on the disc, dating back to 1975. It doesn't sound one bit dated. The album also features one brand new song - the earnest but genuinely moving ode to Saratoga's legendary coffeehouse. "I should probably be wearing my Greek fisherman's hat for this one," Jerling explains to the amused crowd by way of an introduction. "This is way folkie, way folkie. I've never written anything like this before. It's a hootenanny." And it's perfect. Greg Haymes, Nippertown.com.

Cute backdrop for videos and room separation

Bought this because sometimes you need emotional boundaries AND physical ones. Surprisingly sturdy, looks nice on camera, and makes a room feel more peaceful instantly. Side note I have 2 cats and 2 large dogs and it has took a couple of beatings but did not damage at all!

Transforming Space: A Tale of Two Stunning Room Dividers

The four-panel screen room divider is absolutely stunning!
Unfortunately, the first one the FedEx driver delivered ended up at the wrong address.
After notifying Amazon, they promptly sent me a “replacement” room divider through UPS, which arrived right on schedule.
Now, I find myself with two beautiful dividers! They both enhance the aesthetic of my home.
I informed Amazon that my first room divider magically appeared today in my building’s lobby.
I’ve placed one of the new screen dividers in front of an old one, and the modern Roundhill divider really makes my older piece look outdated!
The Roundhill screen divider is sleek, bold, and refreshing—I’m in love with it.
The second divider serves a practical purpose by hiding my bulky grocery cart, fan, and vacuum cleaner.
These items used to clutter my living room closet, making it difficult to access due to the abundance of coats I had stuffed in there.
Now, all those items are neatly tucked away behind the elegant Roundhill four-panel screen divider, bringing a sense of order to my space.

Beautiful, Sturdy, Well Made, good Value for the money

I don’t know what the bad reviews are about. This is a beautiful, well made 4 panel screen. The screen print appears to be a standard print that is likely the same on every screen they produce (not hand painted by two different people). It is beautiful. Everything about it, including the colors and the screen print image on rice paper, is more lovely than the photos. The wooden frame (black) is solid and sturdy. The hinges are stable and well positioned. When people say lightweight it sounds misleading. It is lightweight enough to easily maneuver but this four panel screen is sturdy and stable. It is slim and tall so someone could conceivably bump into it and jostle it. But no more so than any number of other items in one’s home. I highly recommend this beautiful, lovely, fine piece of home decor. I purchased this as a divider between my work station (office) and my living room. Also, even though there was a slight dent in the package when it was delivered, it wasn’t a deep enough gash to damage the screen. When I pulled the screen from the box my first thought was just how study it is. So very pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful Room Divider

This room divider is so beautiful and elegant yet very functional, study and very well made!
I have had many compliments on its beauty and elegance.
They have said it is much nicer than blurring my background. Which affects how you look on a teleconferencing meeting.
I do zoom meetings at times for my religious meetings when I cannot go in person!
And this is exactly what I have needed to obscure my private bedroom space.
The size is perfect for my size desk. It covers completely the whole area not showing any of my bedroom to the public.
When not in use I fold it up and put it away. It is lightweight and very easy to move around. The height doesn’t make it awkward to move and yet tall enough to obscure my whole background.
