ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. Love the quality. No waxy feeling, ,but has a slight seal on a cardboard plate so food does not make plate soggy. I give a 4 star because, the actual surface that is usable for food is 4.5โ. This can be a nice thing as the edge holds food / snack on plate.. Reasonably priced for 100 small plates. Would I buy again maybe.
