Description

PALL 4552 Acrodisc Syringe Filter with PTFE Membrane - 0.2µm, 13 mm, minispike outlet (100/pkg 300/cs)Syringe filters are used in analytical chemistry applications to remove particulate contamination prior to analysis. Filtering a sample prior to sample injection into analytical instrumentation will help protect sensitive parts of the instrument from particulate build up and reduce system downtime. Syringe filters are used in analytical chemistry applications to remove particulate contamination prior to analysis. Filtering a sample prior to sample injection into analytical instrumentation will help protect sensitive parts of the instrument from particulate build-up and reduce system downtime. Sample filtration using syringe filters containing 0.45 μm (HPLC) or 0.2 μm (UHPLC) pore size membranes will also extend the life of chromatography columns by preventing particulate from blocking the flow path between the column packing.

PTFE membrane is highly chemically compatible for the filtration of harsh solvents that can destroy other membrane materials. PTFE is a hydrophobic membrane, so it will repel water and is not suitable for the filtration of aqueous solutions.

As well as being suitable for the filtration of organic solvents in applications such as HPLC and UHPLC sample preparation, the hydrophobic nature of the PTFE membrane makes these syringe filters ideal to use in gas filtration or as a moisture barrier in venting applications.

13 mm Acrodisc syringe filters are designed for the filtration of sample volumes up to 10 mL. They feature an effective filtration area of 1.0 cm2 and a polypropylene housing which has excellent chemical compatibility properties. The syringe filters are HPLC certified for low levels of UV-absorbing extractables, preventing spurious peaks on chromatograms, ensuring both accurate and reliable results.

Pall 13 mm Acrodisc syringe filters are available with a standard male slip luer outlet or Pall’s proprietary minispike outlet. The minispike allows for easy handling with a HPLC vial, and offers a reduced hold-up volume, ensuring maximum filtrate recovery.

Typical hold-up volumes:
13 mm, male slip luer outlet:

Fixes flats and old tires like a charm

This stuff is awesome. If you have tractor tires, ATV tires, bike, tires, hell, any tires that hold air. This stuff is awesome. Awesome. Awesome. It does not work for highway vehicles, i.e. Cars and truck trucks. But anything else it’s great. Dollies, air compressors, wheelbarrows, the stuff is awesome dude.

slime is and has always been amazing for bike tires and other small pneumatic tires
Style: 1 gal
this is a great value, I have been using slime in my tubes of my bikes and a small inflatable pneumatic tires for probably 30 years, and I can say slime has only improved, and it works fantastic, this is a very good way to save money, and it works great on goat heads and several other ways your tires can get punctured, I still always recommend carrying a small air compressor or pump, but for the price point you just cannot beat slime, every bike shop should always carry this.

What was left in the bottle worked great. However, the cap was off of the jug when I opened the package. Ididn't have enough for the other tires.

TireJect Product Featured on Youtube Channel "sixtyfiveford" Works Fantastic!
Size: 8oz MTB Tire Sealant Kit, Size: 8oz MTB Tire Sealant Kit
I recently had an opportunity to work on an old Troy-Bilt Snow Blower with a Carlisle Stud Bias Tire - 4.80-8 4 that had a continual leak and would not hold pressure for more than a day. After investigation, I discovered that it "Champagne" sized bubbles coming from an area on the sidewall that I circled in yellow "China" marker. Because of the size of the tire, I decided to purchase the "TireJect Mountain Bike (MTB) Tire Sealant Kit because I didn't require a lot of material to seal the tire. The TireJect Mountain Bike (MTB) Tire Sealant Kit came with an single 8oz container and I used 4 of those 8oz's in this single tire. The TireJect material sealed up the area beautifully. After the sealant cured, I was able to pump up the tire to 15PSI and it has held it's pressure for more than a week now. You can see from the photos, that the sidewalls in that yellow circled area were actually cracked (probably due to the tire sitting flat for more than a year). I highly recommend this product over previous products I have used in the past (Slime).
