People Like Us is audiovisual collage artist Vicki Bennett, who has been making work available via CD, DVD and vinyl releases, radio broadcasts, performances, gallery exhibits, and online streaming for 25 years. Since 1992, she has developed an immediately recognizable aesthetic repurposing pre-existing footage to craft audio and video collages with an equally dark and witty take on popular culture. She sees sampling and appropriation as folk art sourced from the palette of contemporary media and technology, with the sharing and cross-referencing incumbent to a populist form. Abridged Too Far is the first of a series of vinyl by Discrepant to celebrate this being the 25th year of People Like Us publishing albums. Abridged Too Far was first released in digitally in 2004 exclusively for UbuWeb, this album includes Vicki's session for John Peel and performances for WFMU, amongst others, from 2003. Great size and warm but didn't feel as luxurious and soft or thick as I thought

This blanket is not quite at fluffy or thick as I would have wanted. It feels thin but soft. It does keep me warm though and it's the perfect size to have multiple people cuddle on the couch while watching a movie?

Shed Really Bad
I love tge feel of these blankets. However, they shed really bad. We have blanket fuzzy embedded in all of our clothes from these blankets. I have washed them several times.

Light, soft, comfy, cozy, but not hot!

I've been looking for a blanket to replace a Berkshire blanket called "Perfect Touch" I've had since 2009 and this is it! I wanted something light weight, comfy, and cozy that doesn't get so hot like many do. When I first got it i thought it might get hot because its soooo fluffy, but it doesn't. I know some have complained about shedding or it coming apart after washing. I've washed it several times, following the washing instructions provided and haven't had any issues at all, really nice quality for the price!
Oh, and its cat approved too.

Cute for girl's dorm room! Needs a wash/dry warning.

Wash/dry by itself. Leaves lint on anything and everything that is washed and dried with it. Kiddo learned the hard way. Loves the blanket and it's feel and color but was disappointed with the left-over pills on the rest of her items from that 1 load. Soft, fluffy and lavender. Great for her dorm!
