As another reviewer pointed out, the OEM paper filter is almost 3 times thicker than this one. All things equal, thicker would mean for filtering surface area. So with less filter media surface area, the filter would clog up quicker. However, since this is washable, maybe that's a moot point. I also noticed on my Hyundai Tucson, the rim of this filter must be slighter thicker because I had a tougher time clipping the filter box closed with this one installed. I am keeping my OEM for now, just in case.

Perfect fit for my 2018 Civic—easy, affordable, and worth it

I’ve bought this cabin air filter multiple times for my 2018 Honda Civic, and it’s consistently great quality. Good quality and fit but find it funny that the instructions with the air flow are on the side. I assume that would be facing out and was annoyed when I tried to close and it didn’t fit. Probably should have read the directions. Still would recommend
