Closer To Stranger is the new solo album by Pakistani-born dream-folk musician Ilyas Ahmed. Drawing on a wide range of influences, his songs incorporate classic singer-songwriter gestures alongside more experimental leanings. Recorded to tape in the studio by Justin Higgins in the fall of 2016 and finished in the spring of 2017, Ahmed's instrumental palette includes: acoustic and electric six- and 12-string guitars, Fender Rhodes, multiple keyboards, tanpura, and percussion. Closer To Stranger stands as a meditation on uneasy identity politics during times of unreason, seeking peace amidst chaos. Jonathan Sielaff (of ambient duo Golden Retriever) cameos with guest saxophone on "Zero For Below", but otherwise the album is a solo affair, alternately feverish, tense, hazed, hypnotic, and narcotic. A slowly unfolding inward journey of late night lullabies and contemplative electric drift.

Feels refreshing, but not for super sensitive skin
I wanted to love this, but my rosacea prone skin is just too sensitive for it. Pretty sure it has caused some minor break outs, as well. A blemish or 2 seem to pop up shortly after using (I really haven’t had much of a problem lately with blemishes, and this is the only thing that had changed in my skin care routine). It also may be making my rosacea flare more, making my face appear redder. It feels great going on, very refreshing, but I did notice the tiniest bit of stinging, which tells me it is irritating my super sensitive skin. The smell is ok, but not as amazing as some made it out to be. I don’t think my skin would tolerate using it daily, I currently only use it once a twice a week, before bed. I love how cooling it is. It is great for layering under, when you need a little boost of hydration and is great for summer. It is on the much lighter side, as far as hydration goes, being that it is a gel.

Amazing!
I found this item online as a possible dupe to farmacy honey halo due to some matching ingredients. I have sensitive skin and prone to closed comedones. This is a fantastic moisturizer and definitely will be my new go to.

Happy face
I've been using this for the past six months and it's easily become my favorite moisturizer. It smells great and the gel consistency is just right, not watery or really thick. It's light, but a little bit sticky. My favorite thing is it doesn't sit on top of your skin and smear off like I've had other moisturizers do. Like If you run your finger down the side of your face you get a weird residue, like you would with sunblock. None of that here! I don't wear a full face of makeup, but as someone who has to create my own eyebrows daily the pens and pencils don't weakly smear on top like they do with the other moisturizers that coat your face. The lines turn out very smooth and opaque.

Great toothbrush for my cats
I was worried about this but it was actually great. It has real bristles like a real toothbrush and it is circular so you can just twist it in their mouth or have them bite it.

Did not work for my cat
I used to buy tubes of CET cat toothpaste which always used to come with a small replacement toothbrush. Now I can either buy a full size of the toothpaste, OR a "sample size" in a foil pouch with the toothbrush.
I thought I would give other toothbrushes a try.
My cat barely tolerates my use of the short toothbrushes. This one was wayyyy too long and without the stiff bristles that actually clean his teeth. I'll keep looking.
