Nilgiris Gin uses carefully selected tea from the vast expanse of tea plantations from the area as a primary ingredient in the flavour profile. On the nose there is a flush of citrusy juniper with a spicy background. Delicate brewed tea and floral undertones come from the paan. The taste is smooth, almost buttery juniper, raw mango and edgy citrus fused together, with a peppery bite and a tease of paan. The finish is long, dry and wholesome. This gin packs a punch.
