The Rat COL9Alpha1 (Collagen Type Ⅸ Alpha 1) ELISA immunoassay kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat COL9A 1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat COL9A 1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat COL9A 1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat COL9A 1. You can calculate the concentration of Rat COL9A 1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Good quality athletic shorts
First note, these are unlined shorts since the description is not clear about it one way or the other. The material is light weight and has a decent amount of stretch in all directions. They came vacuum sealed and double bagged. The waist band is wide and comfortable, and the inseam is right at 5". The drawstring has large plastic aglets. The two front pockets are deep enough to secure an oversized phone or your keys. I'm typically between a 32" and 34" waist, and the mediums are a little on the snug side but not too tight. If you are between sizes, I would recommend to size up. Overall, the quality is nice and there were no loose threads or stitching. With the light weight fabric you barely know they are there and are a comfortable as whatever you wear underneath.

Love these for casual wear
I bought these as running shorts but I've reserved them for casual wear. They are a flattering color that goes well with the current prevailing style, and they are trim and straight and look well made rather than athletic. Would they work as athletic shorts? Yep for sure, but it'd be a waste to keep these only for the gym.
