I put one wheel through a wooden partition gate (for dogs) and pushed a couch up against it and it held great keeping young kids out of the room. Though the dog figured it out pretty quickly haha I love the fabric in between the sections as well as the fact that they can be completely separate for individual use as needed. Makes it very useful in more scenarios.
