The Belt Changing Tool from STV Motorsports is a no-nonsense tool that does exactly what it’s supposed to, and that is to make changing belts on the trail a 5-minute job instead of a hour-long ordeal! Most belt tools including the OEM one are made of harder materials than what the rollers (that the tool interacts with) are made of.

Consequently using those belt tools will mark up rollers, which will eventually create a flattened edge and eventually lead to clutch failure (belts being eaten up VERY quickly).

Additionally the STV Motorsports Belt Changing Tool is made of 6061 Billet Aluminum and is PROVEN to maintain the integrity of clutch components AND make changing belts QUICK!

quality matches cost + instructions unnecessarily tedious

The material is real wood but don't assume that means quality - it's still very cheap feeling, and very lightweight. But once installed they are quite stable, and they look great from afar. I got a darker colored one and the stain does come off very easily. One of the shelves had a huge manufacturer sticker on it and it took off the stain when I removed it, and a bit of the stain also came off when I wiped the shelves down with a wet cloth. It'll be dry dusting from now on, I suppose. Also, they did not fit snugly into the corner - when one side is pushed flush to the wall, it forces the other side to pull away from the wall a little bit. It wasn't a drastic space, maybe like 1/8th of an inch, but it is still something to note. I am fine with the cheap quality as they are, after all, pretty cheap, so I'd say they are worth exactly as much as they cost. Personally I am happy with the purchase - just thought I'd warn. Secondly - if you want to follow the instructions exactly, you will need two people unless you have inhuman agility. But I also think the instructions were a bit asinine and tedious. They want you to line up the LOOSE shelf and brackets with a leveler to mark where the brackets go on the wall, then put in the wall screws, hang the brackets on them, balance the shelf on the brackets to mark on the SHELF where the brackets will be attached, take the brackets off the wall to screw them into the shelf, then put the combined shelf-bracket unit once again on the wall screws and finally screw those in tight. In hindsight, you can just mark where the brackets should go on the SHELF (not wall), screw the brackets into the shelves, THEN level the shelf on the wall and screw the whole unit into the wall together. We were really baffled why the instructions didn't have us do that instead of spending extra time (and frustration) trying to juggle all the loose pieces and tools. But I'm not engineer-minded, nor have I ever installed corner shelves before, so maybe there would be some kind of issue with doing it that way that I can't predict.
