Space Light Color Vol. 1 - Vinyl (BBR & BlueMoon Records Edition)

A work that embodies the art of sound, born from rigor and maximum fidelity. It is the culmination of a solid synergy between Bird Box Records (BBR), a beacon of pure analog sound, and BlueMoon Records by Bruno Fazzini and Massimo Piantini.

The two companies, with over forty years of combined experience, share a singular vision: "to capture and recreate sound with the fidelity and pure emotion of a live performance."

Space Light Color Vol. 1 doesn’t feature any new songs, but taps into the heart of our collective musical memory, offering new and intimate interpretations of iconic songs.
This album is a journey through hits ranging from jazz to pop-rock:

Side A : Includes tracks that resonate with the story, such as the energetic "Tequila," the intense "Killing Me Softly with His Song," and the celebrated "From the Beginning" (made famous by artists like Emerson, Lake & Palmer). We also find the catchy "Georgy Porgy."

Side B : Continues with classics like "Black Queen", the evergreen "On Broadway" and the romantic standard "My Funny Valentine", concluding with the jazz tribute to Charles Mingus, "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat".

Each piece is presented here through the unique lens of the Acoustic Workshop, transforming well-known pieces into new sonic experiences, rich in ambient realism and analog dynamics.

A Sound Experience of Maximum Dynamics and Realism:

  • The Place: The album captures the essence of a historic performance recorded in a unique and evocative setting: the Il Cassero Museum, Monte San Savino.
  • Environmental Realism: Thanks to careful recording and subsequent processing, the album offers a surprising sense of environmental realism, allowing the listener to perceive the spatiality and acoustics of the recording location.
  • High Fidelity Mastering: The original 2002 recording has been recovered and optimized for vinyl through a meticulous analog mastering process on 1/2-inch tape, handled at Nightingale Studios.
  • This process ensures great dynamics and allows the vinyl to retain its original impact and depth, enhancing the full dynamics of the music, as captured on the master.
  • To ensure maximum signal integrity and purity, audiophile-grade equipment was used, such as the legendary Ampex ATR102 reel-to-reel tape recorder and tube and solid-state mastering outboards.

An essential work for the audiophile seeking the unadulterated emotion of live performance and the absolute purity of analogue sound.

Feature

Gatefold Vinyl. Limited to 300 Numbered Copies. 180g Audiophile Pressing, 45 RPM.

Recorded at the Cassero Museum in Monte San Savino, Italy, in June 2002. Mastered at Nightingale Studios in Palombara Sabina (Rome), August 2025. The sonic essence, captured in its digital purity (DAT), was then sculpted and finalized on a 1/2-inch Analog Master Tape: the beating heart of this vinyl edition. Lacquer Cut by Roberto Barbolini. Lacquer mastering made on a Neumann VMS 70 lathe and Ortofon Type Dsa 731 cutting head. The signal is managed in preamplification by the Neumann SAL 74B, Audio Research VT60 tube power amplifier and cutting head and RIAA encoder. Vinyl pressed in Germany by Optimal Media GmbH.

A good start to the story
    Format: Kindle
This was definitely entertaining, and the cliffhanger left me curious to see what happens next. Addi is definitely a bad ass and she has to prove herself Day in and Day out because of what she is. I love that. She never cowards and always rises to a challenge. She doesn’t let anyone push her and she always has a comeback for any prejudice thing said to her. I’m looking for more from the guys cause so far I’m honestly unimpressed. They definitely have some growth and helping within these next few books I’ll see that growth and like them a little more.

    OUTSTANDING
    Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.

    Definitely worth the read!
    Format: Kindle
After taking a deep breath and taking in that wicked twist of an ending, I have finally composed myself. My first thought when I started this book was that I love Reyna's character. I was intrigued by her connection with her familiar and the Ruin that is plaguing her land. It came as no surprise that she took her sister's place in an attempt to protect her. When they reach the Air Court everything slows down. This is where it was iffy for me. First of all, I like multiple POV's in books however 7 is a bit much. It starts to interrupt the story line. I felt like I was finally making progress connecting with one character, then it was switched to another person. I felt they all had necessary or pertinent information but not necessarily were they all POV worthy. The only other thing that annoyed me was that Reyna constantly was " trapped." She would rush off without thinking, only to need rescuing. She is brilliant in a fight, but she really doesn't think through anything. Lorcan is amazing. I know he might be on the "bad" list, but his background is so interesting. Eislyn(Reyna's sister) is really so sweet, but calculating. I enjoyed her and Thane's dialogue. The author did an amazing job with the imagery in this book. Everything was so detailed it was easy to fall into the scene. I love unexpected twists and while part of the ending I expected, I wasn't expecting how it took place. All in all, I found it very entertaining and I am very invested in continuing this series. Favorite quotes: "The truth may be twisted but never false." "Who was she if she was not the enemy of the Air Court? What was her purpose of she no longer has that?" "In a war-torn land, love was always a lie."

    Great Read!!! Great story!!!
    Format: Kindle
The series is long, but Ms. Wolfhart does a fantastic job of weaving this tale while bringing so much to the characters. Surprises and plot twists along the way to keep you intrigued. There is some graphic sex, but is no way the focal point. Grammar was excellent (a rare find with a lot of self publishers) with only a few noted errors. I rarely give 4 stars, let alone 5.
