The wall behind the Z06 was based on a very faded sign in Dallas advertising a defunct railroad named the Texas and Pacific. Their slogan “23 hours to St. Louis” made me think of the of St. Louis Corvette Plant. This Corvette certainly wouldn’t take 23 hours to reach St. Louis.
