Blackberry in Winter Sun has been designed by London based print maker Marthe Armitage, a master in the art of hand blocked wallpaper.
The Blackberry pattern has been carefully printed in England onto 'flexo papers' using water-based inks. The papers are created using rollers engraved with original Marthe Armitage Lino cut artwork.ย This method of print production preserves the texture of the lino blocks while producing a consistent pattern repeat.ย
