It is not the aim of the author to make any display of his ability or talent as a writer before the public, but that all who seek to know the truth of this matter may see it in the light of God’s Word, so that those who have been ensnared therein may be enabled to make their escape; and that those who might come in contact with it may shun it.

With an earnest appeal to those into whose hands this book may fall, to not lay it aside until they have carefully read and compared it with the Word of God, I send this forth, earnestly invoking the blessings of God upon all who may read it.
