Vinyl LP pressing. Scott McCaughey was eleven years old when he first heard "Last Train To Clarksville" and became a lifelong Monkees fan in that moment. A few years ago he gathered like-minded Minus 5 cohorts, and, starting with the surreal 10-minute epic "Michael Nesmith", they crafted a song for each member, as well as one for "Boyce & Hart", the duo that wrote and produced many classic Monkees tracks. The album features nine original songs, that pay heartfelt homage to the Monkees as well as other friends and artists influential to McCaughey's musical psyche. Side One tackles each member of the Monkees in song, starting with the ten-minute epic "Michael Nesmith," and ending with "Boyce & Hart," which praises the songwriting team behind many beloved Monkees hits. Side Two bows to iconic actor Robert Ryan, the brilliantly literate Portland-based Americana band Richmond Fontaine, and, in "Blue Rickenbacker" and "Weymer Never Dies," two lost comrades that loom large in McCaughey's development into a rock and roll lifer.

Really nice, husband loves them!

Nice and soft. These feel like a good hotel pillow. Just got them for my husband as he likes a "down alternative" pillow whereas I like something a bit firmer. He said he really loves them. Not sure if they will flatten with time. I'm sure they will like most every pillow out there. But so far so good.

The first king size comforter to actually fit my king size bed properly. All of my previous comforters were too short/not wide enough. I ordered the oversized king and it’s the best fit I’ve ever seen. It’s lightweight enough for summer but still heavy enough to be warm in the winter. You can feel the quality in this blanket. And it comes with a carrying bag as well!

It’s a great purchase

I purchased this on a whim. I’m glad I did! It is the right weight and provides the warmth I crave at night. Most importantly it is quiet. My old down made a crinkly sound when moving which disturbed my sleep. This one thank God, does nothing of the sort.
