This Japanese Flowering Apricot bonsai tree offers an exquisite display of strongly fragrant flowers in mid to late winter. The very small blooms, less than 1 in diameter, can cover most of its delicate bare branches during January and February. These are followed by, oval-shaped leaves with pointed tips in the spring. Full sun is essential for the flowering apricot, as even small amounts of shade will reduce its flower bud yield.

They mature into small ornamental fruit, slightly larger than 1 inch in diameter, with fuzzy skin that ranges green to yellow. The tree features a beautifully grafted trunk.
