The BM9-HDG6 kit features ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate, designed for high-performance racing applications. These pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms undergo a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency.
Paired with ACT's 6-pad, spring-centered race disc made with high-quality ceramic friction materials, this setup provides durability and optimal performance on the track. The spring-center construction properly dampens torsional vibrations and resists failure under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers enhance spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability.
