Designed and engineered specifically for Land Rover Defender, the cross bars are optimised for aerodynamic performance and to minimise wind noise. Manufactured from anodised aluminium for premium appearance, they are easy to fit with torque control tool included. The pre-set positioning ensures the cross bars are fitted to the roof rails in the optimum position for weight distribution and dynamics, providing you with additional confidence in safe roof carrying. Lockable for enhanced security, they include a T-track design to facilitate installation and removal of roof carrying accessories. Material tested to withstand harsh environments including corrosion resistance. City Crash tested and also ISO-PAS 11154 compliant. When fitted, the maximum carrying capacity of the cross bars is 94kg. Available on 130 only. Not available on V8. Not compatible with expedition roof rack. Consideration should always be given to vehicle's maximum roof load capacity to ensure this is not exceeded. Objects placed above the roof mounted satellite antenna may reduce the quality of the signal received by the vehicle and could have a detrimental effect on the navigation and satellite radio systems, if fitted. Items carried on the roof may restrict the opening of the vehicle�s sunroof when fitted. Care should be taken when opening the roof to avoid collision with any items fitted above the vehicle.Fits:

Entertaining read
Format: Kindle
I wanted to educate myself on some of the issues that are presented in this book. If you're looking for just factual case-law and supreme court decisions this is not the book you're looking for. This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.

Excellent Details
Format: Kindle
If you're like me, you've probably either never heard of these cases or heard about them in only the broadest of strokes. For remedying that, this book is excellent. Thomas provides a detailed account of how these complaints came to be, how they wended their way through the cases, and why they are important in terms of outcome and legal precedent. This is a book that I'm glad to have read and one that I would highly recommend to others.

engrossing, revealing, shocking, fascinating -- 10 gritty women who won big cases at great personal loss
Format: Kindle
Thankfully, women no longer have to pay more for retirement plans, and get lower payouts, than men. Amazing how many different, inventive the ways were in the 1960's to keep women out of jobs. Bless Title VII and the attorneys and clients who fought these battles; we stand on their shoulders. The saddest part is the update, at the end of the book showing how protections against gender discrimination in the workplace have weakened in recent years. In particular, it has become difficult, or nearly impossible, to prove that a hostile work environment exists so long as employers pay lip service to certain ideas and practices and hide what's really going on--which we working women KNOW still goes on, unfortunately.

Format: Hardcover
Amazing look behind the scenes at the people (plaintiffs and lawyers) who made equality for women at work a reality. Compelling, heartwarming, and educational - should be required reading for anyone who holds a job in 21st century America - both to learn how far we've come and to see the ways in which we need to continue the fight for equality at work.
