Karlrecords celebrates it's tenth birthday, and Zeitkratzer celebrate their 20th with necessary re-interpretations of early compositions by electronic pioneers Kraftwerk. Founded in 1997 by Reinhold Friedl, Zeitkratzer have since been creating an impressive catalog of recordings that embraces 20th century avant-garde composers (Cage, Stockhausen, Lucier) as well as electronic artists (Carsten Nicolai, Terre Thaemlitz) or underground experimentalists like Throbbing Gristle or Column One. In their 20th anniversary year, the critically acclaimed ensemble will release a series of diverse albums that will explore new grounds in the typical, adventurous Zeitkratzer way - the first of these albums is dedicated to Kraftwerk and their early, kraut-esque albums Kraftwerk (1970) and Kraftwerk 2 (1972). As Kraftwerk never re-released these albums, Zeitkratzer gave it's best to cover the first tranche of the songs. Recorded in Marseille/France in May 2016, the six tracks reveal a bucolic and even psychedelic aspect of the ensemble that's mostly known (or feared) for it's interpretative and aesthetic acerbity. And yet there's no doubt that Songs From The Albums "Kraftwerk" And "Kraftwerk 2" is a true Zeitkratzer recording in the best and fullest meaning. Zeitkratzer directed by Reinhold Friedl are: Frank Gratkowski - flute, clarinets; Elena Kakaliagou - French horn; Hilary Jeffery - trombone; Reinhold Friedl - harmonium, piano; Didier Ascour - guitar; Maurice de Martin - drums; Lisa Marie Landgraf - violin; Burkhard Schlothauer - violin; Elisabeth Coudoux - violoncello; Ulrich Phillipp - double bass. Presented here on 180 gram vinyl; Includes insert and download code; Edition of 500.

Nice looking but bad quality and defects

Shelves look nice, but not great quality and one of my shelves came crooked (installed it perfectly level). Also has defects around the edges. Already installed so don’t want to rip off wall and return, but would like if they sent a couple new replacements at no charge. Keep you posted if that happens.

This floating shelf looks great and feels very sturdy once installed. It’s stable, fits securely on the wall, and holds plenty of items without issue. I measured beforehand, and it fits perfectly in the space I needed. The hardware was included, and assembly was quick and easy—I had it up in just a couple of minutes. The quality is excellent, and the clean design adds a nice touch to the room. Highly recommend!

It’s meh

Instructions are different than what comes. It’s hard to level and because there isn’t as many mounting points as the instructions it’s more flimsy than you’d think. Still works but can take some finessing to get it to be sturdy enough depending on what you’re planning on putting on it. Looks good and like the pictures though.

Light weight but solid floating shelf

Having looked around at brick and mortar stores around me locally I had a really hard to find one that was long enough to fit my wall.
Glad I was able to find the Balucci floating shelf 48'. As a collector or toys and memorabilia from my travels I wanted something in my room that could hold a substantial amount of small toys and items. Installing was very easy pretty much securing the base with the hardware provided. And securing the base to the shelf itself.
I'm very happy with the quality and also the strength of the shelf. Even with a good tug it was very tight. Maybe some longer screws would be more secure but I think the ones provided were good enough.

Solid Floating Shelves 🛠️🏠

I have installed four sets of the black floating shelves in my office. They are made of high quality materials, featuring a sophisticated black woodgrain finish with a natural texture. Supposedly, each unit can handle up to 22 pounds, though I would not recommend testing that limit with your vintage bowling ball collection if you value your flooring. They are awesome.
The value is good for a set of two. Each shelf measures 22x7x1 (56x17x3 cm) inches, providing a decent amount of storage for books or decor. The installation was straightforward since the hardware for multiple wall types was included. They work well in the kitchen for spices or in the bedroom for personal belongings.
One tip for a secure fit: use a level during installation and make sure the bracket is flush against the wall before sliding the shelf on, or your photos might look like they are sliding off a mountain 📐
These shelves offer a clean, modern look and stay stable once mounted correctly. They are a practical choice for adding functional display space to any room 🖼️
