Six Questions Your MaxLiving Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this financial model template for chiropractic wellness center using our own research into corrective care clinics. Key assumptions like the $10,000 franchise fee and the $13,000 monthly rent for a premium Scottsdale location are pre-populated but fully editable. You can see how the $77,000 year-one EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) scales as you add more chiropractic assistants to handle higher patient volume.

When does the unit turn a profit?

This chiropractic franchise unit hits its stride fairly quickly, reaching monthly breakeven by April 2026, just four months after launching. Net profit grows significantly as you move from year one to year five, driven by high-margin holistic programs and recurring membership dues. The model shows EBITDA jumping from $77,000 to $812,000 as the patient base matures.

Profitability Gains

  • Upsell holistic programs
  • Optimize staff scheduling
  • Increase membership retention
[dynamic_pic9]

How much capital is needed?

Launching this unit in a premium US market requires significant startup capital requirements, especially with leasehold improvements and diagnostic imaging systems. The model shows a minimum cash need of $797,000 to cover the build-out and the initial ramp-up period before cash flow turns positive. Here's the quick math: you need $160,000 just for the facility build-out and another $160,000 for specialized equipment.

Major Capital Uses

  • Leasehold Improvements: $160,000
  • Chiropractic Equipment: $90,000
  • Diagnostic Imaging: $70,000
[dynamic_pic10]

What is the expected return?

Investors can expect a 4-year payback period on their initial capital according to this analysis. While the internal rate of return (IRR) is a modest 4.02% in this specific scenario, the return on equity (ROE) of 1.59 shows steady value creation as the patient base matures. Still, the ROI for franchise investment looks better when you factor in the long-term equity of a $2 million revenue business.

Investment Metrics

  • 4-year payback period
  • 4.02% IRR
  • 1.59 Return on Equity
[dynamic_pic11]

What is the break-even point?

You reach the break-even point in month 4, but staying there depends on maintaining a steady flow of chiropractic services and workshop fees. The franchise unit break-even analysis formula shows that the biggest threat to your break-even is the fixed overhead, specifically the $13,000 monthly rent and the $105,000 lead chiropractor salary. If patient volume drops by even 10%, that break-even date slips fast.

Speed to Break-even

  • Pre-sell memberships early
  • Control medical supplies
  • Monitor labor productivity
[dynamic_pic12]

What is the cash runway?

The lowest cash point occurs in August 2026, roughly eight months after the initial investment starts. You'll defintely want a franchise cash flow forecast that accounts for the gap between paying for $160,000 in renovations and seeing $250,000 in membership revenue. This runway ensures you don't run out of gas while the clinic is still ramping up.

Cash Preservation

  • Phase equipment purchases
  • Negotiate rent abatement
  • Delay non-clinical hires
[dynamic_pic13]

How do scenarios affect results?

Comparing scenarios in this financial feasibility study for health and wellness franchise shows how small changes in patient retention ripple through the P&L. Moving from a medium to a high-growth scenario changes your year-5 EBITDA from $812,000 to much higher if patient retention stays above 90%. Plus, using this template for tracking franchise unit performance metrics helps you pivot before a bad month becomes a bad year.

High-Case Execution

  • Local SEO dominance
  • High-ticket workshop sales
  • Referral partner network

Weak battery base on saw module.
Style: 4.0ah Battery Included
Probably would work for light duty. I used this thing less than 8 hours (less than a single day of work) and the saw broke at the base that it connects to the extension pole. The motor on the saw itself seemed powerful enough. It got hung up in a branch and then broke on one side of the battery slide in (which was connected to the pole extension, as per the saw's design) Probably buy a more durable one if you're really planning on doing some work with it. Bet it was made for city people.

Convenient and powerful
Style: 4.0ah Battery Included
This 2-in-1 electric pole saw works great for trimming tall branches without needing a ladder. The 14.5 ft extension reach makes it easy to cut high branches safely from the ground. It has strong cutting power, and the 10-inch chainsaw blade handles thicker branches well. The compatible Dewalt 20V battery and included 4.0Ah battery provide good runtime. Overall, it’s a convenient and powerful tool for yard pruning and tree maintenance. 🌳

Amazing Pole Saw! Look no further!
Style: 4.0ah Battery Included
My DeWalt pole saw broke (after 2 years of occasional use) so I bought this one. I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, this new off-brand pole saw is awesome! It's well built. You can use the saw without the pole (which you can't do with DeWalt). It has a battery indicator LED screen on the top of the saw. DeWalt doesn't. It comes with a battery that can charge two different ways. You can use a DeWalt charger or you can plug the charger that comes with it into the top of the unit. The saw comes fully assembled except for the handle. The bar and chain are all ready setup and dialed in (an industry first)! It came with everything needed to operate except for the chain oil. Even came with a screw driver to put the handle on. The chain that comes with it isnt great but it cuts. It actually cut extremely well but dulled after about an hour of nonstop use. Most importantly, it cuts just as good as my DeWalt pole saw. Dead serious. This is an awesome saw. Comparable to DeWalt. Buy one before they sell out and you can't find em anymore. I had a hard time finding this saw on Amazon. I saw a review for it on YouTube and had to use the affiliate link to find it. There were a ton of other pole saws that looked almost identical. I can't speak to them - but this one is a no-brainer. An absolute steal at the price! I don't work in tree service any more and wouldn't use it if I did, but I am a contractor and from time to time I need a pole saw and this one fits the bill. This isn't a sponsored review. I used my own money to buy it and I'm not affiliated with the company in any way.
