Built for women skiers with a range of abilities on all-mountain terrain, this alpine ski boot has a medium 95 flex that’s more forgiving than other models in the Hawx Prime W lineup. Stability comes in a slim profile thanks to latest Prolite construction, which adds strategic reinforcement only where it counts. A 3D Silver liner gives an anatomical fit pre-shaped around the heel and ankle. Memory Fit allows for full customization of shell, cuff, and liner in minutes. To fit the unique shapes of women’s calves, the boot has a lower cuff and more volume in the leg. Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Cuff spoiler pops out for even more space. Cantable GripWalk pads provide added traction and grip, and ensure the trusty power transfer of a traditional alpine sole. Poor sole design could result in injury to heel.

These would be so much better if the sole did not expose the heel to possible punctures. There is an actual cutout of the sole where only the spongy part of the shoe is exposed to the heel. Anything sharp will go right through.

’ve been wearing Cole Haan dress sneakers for work and travel, and they strike a really good balance between professional and comfortable. The biggest advantage is how lightweight they feel compared to traditional dress shoes. Most styles have sneaker-like cushioning, so you can walk or stand all day without your feet getting destroyed.
