"First graspable release by Leaf Peepers, a Massachusetts duo comprised of Turner Falls' Omeed Goodzari and Worcester's Nick Bisceglia. Omeed is well-known hereabouts as member of Donkey No No, and also for his solo recordings, which include the superb Zoltar Hid All the Locks / Minnows LP (FTR 349LP, 2018). Nick has recorded with his band Husks, and has also participated on sessions by Wendy Eisenberg and Chris Weisman among others. In fact, the both of them helped out on Chris's last album, Romantics. Be that as it may, the sound of the Leaf Peppers is located somewhere near the orthocenter of these references. Because Omeed is present, there is a distinct whiff of classic hippie paranoia, usually expressed via acoustic guitar figures that are both simple and complex at the same time. Meanwhile, the vocals display lots of the same weird pop displacement as the tuneage of Brattleboro's finest. Although it also seems as if there's a lot of speed manipulation on the vocal tracks, so that sometimes you'd swear you were listening to ghost-lassies singing about CIA operatives and monkey glands and various other topics. But whatever speed you hear it at, Lunchtime for Birdy is a trip. Rolling circles of guitar-chords, toots of the pan flute, with vocals and lyrics that range from softly lyrical to something that recalls the ecstatic-chaos of the Fugs. Favorite toy so far!

I got the medium for my approx 25 lbs border collie mix 4.5 month old puppy. He is in love! He still has his razor baby teeth and didn't do any damage to it the first two uses. A great *quiet* toy to keep him busy. I am putting the replacement rings on autoship now!

I have bought 9 of the PetSafe ring toys. 5 for my pup and 4 as gifts. I have all of the toys (chicken, steak, jack, corn, ball, bone, nobbly). Never have I ever experienced any of them being broken in 1 afternoon. I will be asking for a replacement. But on the positive note, he was exhausted after finally getting the rings off. He has never broken any of the previous toys.

Best toy I've found in a long time!

I got the small Nobbly for my 3lb puppy, but it's too big for her (she loves the xs bouncy ball one anyway). So my 15yo standard poodle adopted it and loves it. It's really too small for him so I watch him and don't leave him unattended. He is so old with bad teeth, and the softness of the center is great for him. It is totally cleaning his teeth, I see white where I haven't for years. But ZERO bleeding which is awesome. It's easy for him to hold and difficult for him to get to the rings, they last plenty long. I will order this one for him in a larger size, probably the medium. 100% satisfied with these toys! Ps I also have a hard chewing 12yo aussie that breaks teeth on anything like a bone. He gets thru the rings in minutes with the bouncy ball and nobbly, but takes way longer with the jack shaped one. He also likes to chew the purple ends of the jack, not just the rings. But I don't think they're hard enough to break his teeth. All of my dogs are different style chewers, but there is a good variety of designs so you can find the perfect one for your canine friend!

Dog-approved toy!
This dog toy was initially confusing because the instructions did not say or show where to find the power button and charging port. They were nowhere to be found until I realized I could unscrew the bottom part of the ball from the top (see picture). That revealed the button and port -- problem solved. Then on to the dog test. Our dog was initially confused by and ultimately fascinated with the ball as seen in the video. There are several operating modes depending on how active your dog is/wants to be. The toy seems quite rugged, so immune to rough dogplay, at least from a golden retriever. Our dog considers this a hit!
