This follow-up to the critically acclaimed Revolt Against Tired Noises (HPS 081CD/LP/LTD-LP, 2018) shows a further maturing of melody, dynamics, and emotion in the band's song writing. Yawning Man's roots lay at the foundation of the desert rock and stoner rock sub genres however the music the band creates is truly organic and visceral, conjuring a flowing imagery and an emotional response. On this release, the band has a darker and massively heavier sound than past recordings as most of these tracks were developed in live performance and then fully realized in the studio. Yawning Man returned to Gatos Trail Studio in the Joshua Tree Desert in California to record this album and the space and beauty of the surroundings is ever present in every track. Heavy, beautiful, and delicate. Gary Arce, Mario Lalli, and Bill Stinson continue to expand and dig deep with every track. Formed in the late 1980s, the lineup of Arce, Lalli, and Stinson rounds out their yearlong active recording and touring schedule. Arce and Lalli's background together date back to the start of Yawning Man with Stinson's background steeped in the SST Records world through performing and recording with Greg Ginn and Chuck Dukowski of Black Flag for several years. Yawning Man is acknowledged and recognized throughout the underground heavy music community as a key piece in the developments of the desert/stoner rock subgenres. While their contemporaries gravitated toward the heavy riffs of grunge, and post punk, Yawning Man leaned in another direction with their unique and organic, cinematic compositions and psychedelic improvisations, the perfect soundtrack to encompass the spacious moonscape atmosphere of the well documented "generator parties" of their area in the late 1980s.

Not good for small dog or puppy and only one came

Only one arrived- expecting two, as the picture showed. And honestly my dog keeps getting its jaw hooked on the product. I wouldnt recommend this product for a smaller jawed dog or puppy.

Our dog loves this toy so much we bought her a second one!

This is absolutely the best dog toy! Our girl has destroyed just about every other toy we have gotten her, but these have lasted 4 months with no sign of damage or wear (just lots of dirt!). She always has one of these in her mouth (occasionally both when she manages it). They survive tug of war, they are great for throwing, and even better for kicking. Have two is super handy for alternating which ball you kick/throw. Super glad we found them - I can't recommend them enough!

Just 1 toy!

We have a big dog and a small dog. This is a perfect toy for both of them. However, my low rating comes from the seller. The ad description showed two balls for just under $15. (What a deal!). I received one ball….. and when I went to look back, it does in fact say much lower in the description “ you will receive one of these two color options”
Generally, if they’re just showing you color, you have a choice in this case I did not have a choice and I find the post with two balls very deceiving!

Yes, this is a smaller ball launcher … It is for her SHORT Game! Love it AND the squeaky baseball that came with it is A-HIT!!
