Following releases of the UFO and Supercar soundtracks, Thunderbirds is the third in the series from Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's iconic TV shows. It is newly compiled, mastered and designed by the creative team at Fanderson (The Official Gerry and Sylvia Anderson Appreciation Society), who have access to Barry Gray's original studio tapes. The album features 37 tracks from 19 episodes (series 1 and 2), including the Thunderbirds main theme and closing titles. The tracks were not programmed to follow the episode order but to achieve an integrated listening experience. The best bits of the sixties' soundscapes are here. The Thunderbirds soundtrack is an effective time capsule as Gray's music veers into British spy genre, Latin pop, exotica, urban jazz and military marches. Beautifully composed and conducted, the score reflects the moods of the scenes, from dangerous to romantic and no-nonsense to silly. Barry Gray was a classically trained composer and a versatile musician, and was amongst the first composers to use electronic instruments in music for television. Best known for creating the music for most of the Gerry & Sylvia Anderson television series in the 1960's and 70's (Fireball XL5, Thunderbirds, UFO, Space:1999), Barry Gray's complete musical opus is still not commercially available in it's entirety.

Very easy to use

I have an Onkyo audio/video receiver along with an Emotiva amplifier. Both have speaker "post" terminals which will accept banana plugs, OR I can connect the speaker wires by unscrewing the posts, poke the speaker wires into the terminals and then tighten the posts. The problem with poking the wires into the terminals and tightening the posts vs using banana plugs is that there is a risk of the wires touching the metal on the back of the chassis or touching other speaker wires, causing a short if one is not careful. With banana plugs, they simply plug into the back/top of the posts, eliminating the rsick of a short circuit. They can also be unplugged very easily if needed. Banana plugs are DEFINITELY the preferred way to connect speakers to an receiver or amplifier if they have post-style terminals.
These particular banana plugs came in a package of 12 I believe. They were very reasonably priced, and simple to connect to the end of the speaker wires. Simply unscrew the banana plugs, use a small, standard jewelry screwdriver and loosen both of the set screws, insert the speaker wire, then tighten the set screws, and then screw the banana plug back together.
The plugs have either a red band which would typically be used for your "Right" speakers, or a black band which would typically be used for the "left" speakers. The banana plugs insert into the top or front of the speaker terminal posts on the amp and receiver. They fit VERY snug, and so I did have to apply just a little bit of pressure in order to insert them into the posts, but once plugged in, rest assured they're not going anywhere. They are snug.

Flexible PVC Cable
Size: 2 Gauge 10FT
If you like the slick, shiny surface of PVC but want the flexibility of welding cable, this is a pretty good option. Easy to shape and makes solid crimps. One of my favorites.

Good quality for a good price!
Size: 6 Gauge 15FT, Size: 6 Gauge 15FT
Good value for the quality of these copper cables. Cut them to the length I needed and put a copper eyelet on one end. Wire size works good between my Victron solar charge controller and the batteries. Wire gauge will be able to handle the wattage much better than what I was using. They look much more professional than the old cables I was using also!

Be safe and always calculate the gauge wire are you need, don’t cut corners.
Size: 4 Gauge 10FT
Good quality solid copper 4 Gauge wires in red and black. Avoid aluminum wiring that has copper plating so looks like solid copper but can be dangerous if used in heavy load applications. Copper is expensive but required if amperage is high.
