His latest creation in the Island Series has the beautiful name “Tradewinds”, and is named after the trade winds that constantly blow in the Caribbean.
The Sailor's Home - Tradewinds 10 Years, located inTrinidad & Tobago Spiced Rum casks finally matured truly lives up to the motto of Sailor's Home - “always heading for new shores”! Almost a crossover with a lot of Cask influence.
Matrued in former Bourbon Casks for at least 10 years, the lush Irish whiskey Sailor's Home - Tradewinds received a final maturation of 10 years in selected Trinidad & Tobago Spiced Rum Casks. These rum casks were originally sherry casks, which were mixed with Caribbean spices and the finest Indian tea with Trinidad & Tobago Rum were filled. The result is fascinatingly exotic and intense in taste.
Despite its 43%vol. “Tradewinds” comes without chill filtration and without coloring, for a full aroma and mouthfeel. And as a reminder - the lid on the bottle is made from recycled marine plastic
