The central plot of the book is preceded and followed by fascinating descriptions of life during the Viet Nam War Era. Probably the most interesting scene is when the author is playing Allman Brothers and Lynnard Skynard records with Gov. Jimmy Carter, when a very young Senator Joe Biden knocks unexpectedly at the apartment door. He subsequently asks Jimmy to run for President of the United States.

The 144 pages include 88 original color photographs of Cumberland Island or Georgia in 1971 - the year of the expedition.

Boggs jr. Review
Format: Hardcover
After reading several books on sedimentary petrology, this seems to be far away the best book of my list. Chapters on diagenesis are just delicious, both of clastic and carbonate rocks. Provenance, textures and structures are complete too, and sistematics are well organiced and complete. Very recommended, I choose Boggs Jr. It arrived in great conditions without any problems.

Good Sed Pet book
Had to get this book for a class. Not the worst read and the material is dry but overall a good book.

Good for studying
Format: Hardcover
I like that the book has large margins on each page to add notes. I'm sure you don't care about this review because you have to buy it for a class anyways.
