The Kiloview D350 is a professional-grade, multi-functional 4K UHD H.265/H.264 IP Video Decoder and Hardware Multiviewer. Serving as a significant technological step up from the legacy D300 decoder, the D350 features a high-performance embedded processing architecture designed to handle heavy multi-stream decoding tasks.

It excels at pulling diverse, multi-protocol IP video streams directly from local area networks or the open internet, decoding them with ultra-low latency, and outputting them across multiple physical baseband interfaces (HDMI and 3G-SDI) simultaneously.

Core Engineering and Operational Features

  • Outstanding Multi-Channel Decoding Performance: The device functions as a powerful standalone hardware multiviewer. Depending on your choice of network protocol and resolution layout, the internal silicon chip scales to handle high-density decoding thresholds:

    • H.264 / H.265 (HEVC): Decodes up to 2 channels at 4Kp60, 4 channels at 4Kp30, 9 channels at 1080p60, or up to 16 channels at 1080p30 simultaneously.

    • High-Bandwidth Full NDI: Decodes 1 channel at 4Kp60, 4 channels at 1080p60, or up to 6 channels at 1080p30.

  • Triple Physical Video Outputs: The hardware chassis provides comprehensive master control room flexibility with three independent output ports: two HDMI 2.0 ports (supporting up to 4Kp60 resolution) and one 3G-SDI port (supporting up to 1080p60 resolution). Operators can configure these outputs to replicate a single master source, display unique standalone feeds on separate monitors, or combine multiple video channels into a single canvas.

  • Format-Agnostic Protocol Ingestion: The D350 seamlessly bridges mixed-protocol infrastructures. It offers native decoding compatibility for Full NDI, NDI|HX2, NDI|HX3, SRT (Secure Reliable Transport), RTMP, RTMPS, HLS, TS over UDP, RTP, and RTSP.

  • Custom Layouts & Dynamic Switching Engine: Production teams can map custom multi-view matrices ranging from a single full-screen anchor layout up to 2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 or 16-screen grids. The software supports picture-in-picture (PIP), picture-by-picture (PBP), picture-on-picture (POP), and custom background/LOGO text overlays. It allows engineers to preview up to 16 real-time video sources over its web UI and seamlessly select 9 of those feeds for active physical monitor output with smooth, glitch-free switching.

  • Integrated Hardware Status OLED Screen: Built into the front face of the compact enclosure is a 0.96-inch monochrome OLED display coupled with touch-sensitive navigation keys. This allows engineering crews to check assigned IP addresses, current CPU loads, firmware parameters, operating temperatures, and structural decoding resolutions on the fly without logging into a separate computer.

  • Comprehensive Audio Matrix & Intercom Routing: The platform decodes high-fidelity audio formats including AAC, LPCM, Opus, MPEG-2/4, and G.711. Its web interface features an audio mixer panel where technicians can switch tracks on/off, adjust gain stages, and mix multiple incoming audio channels to output alternatively via embedded HDMI/SDI lines or the physical 3.5mm analog out jack. Connecting a standard USB headset to the device integrates it with the Kiloview Intercom System (KIS) for voice talkback.

💡 Operational System Tips for the D350 Decoder

The Native Multi-Network Isolation Setup: The D350 features dual physical Gigabit Ethernet ports. To guarantee completely bulletproof live event decoding when processing high-bandwidth streams alongside public web inputs, use Network Port 1 (which handles Power over Ethernet) strictly to ingest heavy interior local area network streams, such as high-bandwidth Full NDI cameras. Assign Network Port 2 to face outward toward public subnets or internet routers to pull external SRT remote feeds or RTMP streams. This physical isolation prevents localized multi-cam traffic spikes from interfering with outside feeds, protecting the decoder from frame drops.

  • Deploying the Integrated RTMP Server Workflow: To simplify remote video backhauls without incurring the platform latency or ongoing subscription costs of an intermediate cloud relay platform, leverage the D350's built-in RTMP Server capability. You can configure a field-deployed hardware encoder anywhere in the world to point its destination stream directly to the public IP address and unique port assigned to your studio's D350. The decoder will receive, process, and output the incoming stream straight to your control room switcher with minimal steps.

  • USB Keypad Multi-Camera Switching Station: When utilizing the D350 in decoding mode to drive projection screens or client confidence monitors at a large corporate venue, you can plug a standard, inexpensive USB numeric keypad into the unit's USB Type-A port. By mapping your primary network IP camera addresses or stream configurations to the 0 through 9 keys within the web GUI dashboard, your production crew can switch the physical display layout across 10 completely different inputs with a single button press.

The "Lazy Professional" Look: Is Hands-Free Luxury Actually Real?
Size: 9.5, Color: Black Napa Leather
Living down here in Florida, my footwear needs are pretty specific. It’s hot, it’s humid, and I spent half my life rushing from the car into work or a meeting. I’ve reached that age where I value efficiency just as much as style—maybe more. I’ve been eyeing the Marc Joseph New York Hands-Free Slip-on Penny Loafers for a while, and after putting them through the wringer, here is the honest truth from someone who just wants to look sharp without the hassle. The "Just Step-In" Reality Look, the big selling point here is the "Hands-Free" tech. We’ve all seen the commercials for those athletic slip-ins, but finding that in a legitimate leather penny loafer is a different game. Does it work? Yes, surprisingly well. The heel counter is firm enough that it doesn’t collapse when you slide your foot in, but it doesn’t feel like a piece of plastic digging into your Achilles once you’re in. For those of us who are tired of bending over or hunting for a shoehorn every morning, this is a genuine quality-of-life upgrade. The Florida Factor: Comfort and Style The leather is actual calfskin (on most models), which is a must for the Florida heat. Synthetic shoes turn into a sauna within ten minutes, but these breathe reasonably well. The aesthetic is classic—it’s a "professor" shoe through and through. You can wear them with chinos and a blazer for work or throw them on with some nice jeans for a weekend lunch. Inside, they’ve got a gel heel insert and a padded footbed. It’s not quite "walking on a cloud"—let’s not over-hype it—but it’s a massive step up from the hard, flat soles of traditional dress loafers. I’ve spent four hours on my feet lecturing, and my arches didn’t hate me by the end of the day. The Sizing Gamble Here’s where you need to be careful. The consensus from other guys (and my own experience) is that the sizing is a bit of a coin toss. They tend to run a little large and sometimes wide. If you have narrow feet, you might find the sides "gaping" or flaring out when you walk, which kills the sleek look. I’d recommend ordering a half-size down if you’re usually between sizes. The Breakdown The Pros: True Hands-Free: You can actually put these on while holding a coffee and a briefcase. No hands needed. Legit Materials: The calf leather feels premium and smells like the real deal. Versatility: Perfectly bridges the gap between a "car shoe" and a formal loafer. Comfort: The gel insert makes a noticeable difference for long-duration wear. The Cons: Sizing Inconsistency: They can run wide, leading to some "heel slip" if you don't get the perfect fit. Break-in Period: The heel is stiff by design (to allow for the slip-on feature), so expect a day or two of minor stiffness. Price Point: They aren't cheap, though often on sale. Value for Money Are they worth it? If you’re comparing them to high-end Italian brands that cost $500, these are an absolute steal. They look 90% as good for a fraction of the price. However, if you're used to $60 mall shoes, the jump to $150+ might feel steep until you realize you’re paying for the convenience of never having to touch your shoes to put them on. For a daily driver in a professional setting, the value is definitely there.

Step In Look Good
Size: 11.5, Color: Cognac Napa Leather
I am wearing these shoes as I write this review, and they look and feel great. I have a bit of a disability with drop foot on the right leg and bilateral neuropathy and have been wearing step in shoes for about 10 years. But the first company that introduced leather dress and casual shoes stopped making them and now only makes sport and casual shoes. So I have been searching for some that meet my need for shoes like this and this company has given me three pairs, so far. Easy to get into, comfortable to wear, and good looking. And they take polish very well, too. (Remember how to do that?). We may buy another pair or two in different styles as well.
