Limited edition color vinyl version. Nick Steven Oliveri (born October 21, 1971) is an American musician from Palm Desert, California. He plays bass guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and is a vocalist. He is most widely known as a bassist with Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, and The Dwarves, and has also performed with the reunited Kyuss under the names Kyuss Lives! And Vista Chino. As a bandleader, his main project is Mondo Generator, a punk/metal hybrid that he formed in 1997. Born in Los Angeles, Oliveri began his career in 1987 with John Garcia, Brant Bjork, Josh Homme, and Chris Cockrell under the name Katzenjammer. In early 1989, after Oliveri's departure to play in other bands, the band would change it's name to Sons of Kyuss, later shortening the name to Kyuss. He later rejoined the band, playing on the albums Wretch (1991) and Blues for the Red Sun (1992). Oliveri would leave Kyuss again in early 1992, shortly after his father died in a car accident. Following his departure from Kyuss he joined The Dwarves as an on-again, off-again bassist under the moniker Rex Everything. However he is perhaps best known as a member of Queens of the Stone Age from 1998 to 2004. Oliveri is also a solo artist and frequent contributor to his friends' albums and tours, including Winnebago Deal, Mark Lanegan Band, Masters of Reality, Turbonegro, Moistboyz aka Dickie Moist and the O.T.C., and The Knives. In the past he has been involved with The Desert Sessions Vol. 4 (1998) and Vol. 6 (1999). Oliveri is known for playing bare chested and sometimes naked at gigs. He was arrested in Brazil, after performing nude on stage at the Rock in Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro. He is one half of the acoustic duo The Uncontrollable, with The Dwarves frontman Blag Dahlia. Oliveri on the record: "Now for the first time, all these songs and bands I've recorded with over the past 25 years are together and available to you to trip out on." Vol. 4 features The Uncontrollable, Biblical Proof Of UFOs, Death Acoustic, Loading Data, The Dwarves, He Who Can Not Be Named, Rattlin' Bones, and Jennifer Finch's Brats On The Beat featuring the Gabba Gabba Heys.

Perfect for Bread
Size: 2-Quart
I bought this to make the bread in the book "Bittman Bread" by Mark Bittman and Kerri Conan, which I also bought here on Amazon. This Dutch Oven has been working perfectly for the last 6 months of baking. As a bonus, it's much less expensive that the same size Lodge pot. I've got a 5-1/2 quart regular and a 7-1/2 quart enameled both from Lodge and use them all the time for stuff, but I only use this 2 qt for the bread, usually more than once a week. It's great.
Look up that "Bittman Bread" book and buy it from Amazon (I don't think you can insert links in the review), then definitely buy this Dutch Oven. I highly recommend both.

Excellent Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
Color: Red, Size: 5Qt
This Dutch oven has quickly become my favorite piece of cookware in the kitchen. The enamel coating makes cleanup surprisingly easy, even after slow-cooked meals. It heats evenly and keeps food warm for a long time after cooking. I’ve used it for soups, roasts, pasta dishes, and homemade bread with amazing results every time. The red color is beautiful and looks great sitting on the stovetop. It feels heavy and durable without being impossible to handle. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a high-quality and versatile cooking pot.

Great for baking bread
Color: Red, Size: 5Qt
Great quality for a good price. I use this to bake sourdough loaves and it performs superbly! I love the little handle potholders they are the perfect size and provide good protection from the very hot pot. Beautiful color but practical and useful.

Worth the purchase
Color: Green, Size: 5Qt
This is my new favorite kitchen purchase. Soups, dips, rice... It all cooks so evenly and beautifully. It cleans so easily with a rag (not using anything abrasive). I am putting about a tablespoon of oil in the pot after cleaning and using and rubbing into the pan to get it seasoned. I would absolutely recommend this purchase. It's beautiful and functional
