MagnaFlow California Grade CARB Compliant Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter 447121 helps keep the check engine light off. DIY installation is easy with the proper tools (no cutting or welding required). With features including mandrel-bent tubing to eliminate flow restrictions and stainless steel construction to resist corrosion, you can have confidence in the quality of this catalytic converter. Using state-of-the-art 3D scanning systems in the design process, the MagnaFlow metrology department ensures this new part to fit and function like the original equipment. This direct-fit catalytic converter is designed to fit the 2001 Ford F-150 and 2001 Ford Expedition. This replacement part is designed to meet or exceed California Air Resource Board requirements, and has undergone additional testing to be certified by CARB for legal use in CA/CARB restricted states for the listed vehicles.

I’ve used Castrol EDGE in a couple of our vehicles and always come back to it for consistent performance. It extends the time between oil changes and holds up well under both daily driving and highway mileage. We don't "extend the time" though. It's changed, on the dot, every time. Excellent choice for long oil change intervals.

I'm a former dealership mechanic and for years I used whatever we had in the bulk tank which was usually Valvoline conventional. My last job was at a German car dealership. Castrol was the oil recommended by the German manufacturers and that's when I started using Castrol. In my experience Castrol is an excellent oil. My 2014 Ford just rolled over 242,000 miles and even with factory 10,000 mile oil change intervals, from what I can see through the oil fill the top end of the engine is still clean. I've never had to remove the valve cover. It's using about a quart between oil 10,000 mile oil changes which is great because when it was new it used about a 1/2 quart between changes.
