Level your 3rd/early-4th gen Ram the right way. This bolt-on system ties the front leveling spacer and external shock mounts together over the factory spring perch for a rigid, clean install. Badged overlays for 1″ and 3″ positions let you set stance, and with a 14″ stroke shock (sold separately) the system operates smoothly anywhere from stock height to ~8″ of lift. Pairs great with our steering upgrades and 4-link long arm systems.
Vehicle Fitment
- 2003–2013 Ram 2500 4x4 (front coil suspension)
- 2003–2012 Ram 3500 4x4 (front coil suspension)
Note: Not for late-2013+ chassis updates that relocate front shocks outside the coil.
Key Specs
- Adjustable front leveling: ~1″ to ~3″ via included badged overlays
- Bolt-on external shock mounts at axle and frame; ties over OEM spring bracket
- Optimized for 14″ stroke front shocks (sold separately)
- Operates across a wide range: stock height to ~8″ lift with proper shock length
- Works well with FFS HD steering and 4-link long arm systems
- Finish/branding: overlay badges for 1″ and 3″ positions
- Hardware: Grade-rated fasteners; reuse of factory locations where applicable
Shocks are not included and are sold separately. Verify compressed/extended lengths, body/shaft clearances, and eye/bolt hardware for your final ride height.
Installation
- Support the front axle on stands; remove front shocks and relieve coil tension per service manual.
- Position the leveling spacer over the factory spring perch; align overlay badge (1″ or 3″) as desired.
- Bolt the external shock mounts at the axle and frame using supplied hardware and factory holes where applicable. Verify clearance to brake lines, ABS wiring, and sway bar links through full travel/steer.
- Select and install 14″ stroke shocks matched to your target ride height; confirm compressed and extended lengths are within spec at bump/ride/droop.
- Reinstall coils (if removed), torque fasteners to spec, cycle steering lock-to-lock and articulate suspension to check for contact.
- Set vehicle on the ground, torque with weight on wheels, then perform a professional alignment (camber/caster/toe). Re-torque after 50–100 miles.

Shop Notes
- Choosing 1″ vs 3″: 1″ is a subtle nose-up; 3″ levels most work-ready setups with mild rake retained.
- Shock selection matters: target ~14″ stroke with correct body/shaft length for your final height.
- Check bump stops and brake line slack if operating near maximum droop.
- Pairs best with FFS HD steering and our 4-link long-arm for improved geometry across the range.
