CryoGold-Ag™ uses a mix of rare gold plated PC-OCC copper and pure silver fine strand wires.  The fine wires are twisted using our H-Wound™ high pitch technique giving the wire a perfectly uniform and round construction before extrusion.

Both raw conductors are cryo treated  and are put through our Ultra-Sonic7™ cleaning process before stranding and extrusion takes place. When dealing with high purtiy wires at these fine sizes, fine particals, oils, and drawing residue left on the wire can greatly effect performance so we take great care every step of the manufacturing process to ensure wires are prestine before processing.  Each lead is hand assembled with our OFHC Rhodium/Silver plated Fitclips™ using a minute amount of high silver content (8% pure silver + copper)  solder.

Designed for the most demanding tonearms on the market.

      Deep Cryo™ Treatment
All of the conductors used in our cables undergo Deep Cryo™ treatment before the insulation is extruded over the metals. Our research has proven that the conductor—and only the conductor— benefits from cryo-treatment. Materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC™), Teflon™, PE, and Silicon™ can all be adversely affected by cold-temperature annealing. Cryo-treating non-conductors and insulating materials can cause them to break down and become brittle.
The purity, size, and molecular structure of each conductor determine the specific temperature within the -186ºC to - a 196ºC range that we cryo-treat it at. Zavfino’s research into cold temperature physics has proven that the absolute lowest temperature is not necessarily the best for cryo-treatment.
This is a two-stage process. In the first stage we draw the bare conductor through a ceramic die into an ultrasonic cleaning chamber that bombards the conductor with multiple ultrasonic frequencies. This emulsification process removes all debris from the surface of the wire down to the molecular level and leaves absolutely zero residues.

      UltraSonic 7 High Voltage / Thermal Break-in
This is a two-stage process. In the first stage we draw the bare conductor through a ceramic die into an ultrasonic cleaning chamber that bombards the conductor with multiple ultrasonic frequencies. This emulsification process removes all debris from the surface of the wire down to the molecular level and leaves absolutely zero residues. After each individual wire is processed, we strand it into bundles and then subject the bundles to further treatment. During the second stage of the ultrasonic burn-in, we increase the voltage to a higher level that’s just below the threshold of the conductor. This adjustment in temperature allows us to get a unique “break-in effect” normally associated with cables that have had 30 to 40 hours of signal and/or current run through them.

      Zavfino’s H-Wound™ + Zero Strand Loss:
Drawing on more than 18 years of manufacturing experience, Zavfino has developed a remarkable new technique for twisting stranded wire tightly around a central solid-core conductor. An electrical phenomenon commonly known as the “skin effect” occurs when electrons move through any solid core conductor. Higher frequencies travel along the outside (the skin) of the conductor faster than midrange and lower echelon frequencies. This results in smeared PRaT, muddled instrumental timbres, and an unnatural sound. Zavfino’s new H-Wound™ manufacturing technique negates the skin effect. Originally developed by OEMs Siemens and Klangfilm, Zavfino uses a customized transformer wire-stranding machine. We further modified the gears in this machinery to create windings at a slower RPM ratio with a much tighter pitch. This patented manufacturing process enables us to twist the wiring at the tightest pitch possible without overlapping the wire strands. Most wire-stranding machines can only fabricate windings up to a maximum of 300 twists per meter. Setting the bar far higher, Zavfino’s patented H-Wound™ cable winding machine creates a pitch rate of 14,000 to 16,000 twists per meter; which is unmatched by any other audiophile cable maker. Zavfino’s new Zero Strand Loss™ manufacturing technique protects the bundled conductors from being damaged during stripping and termination. By ensuring that each core has zero chipped, cut, or mangled strands, we can guarantee that each insulated core is 100% identical. For audiophiles, the sonic results of tighter windings and Zero Strand Loss™ conductors are cables with quieter backgrounds, remarkable timbral accuracy, lifelike PRaT, jaw dropping mid-range resolution, and superior low frequency extension. Our new H-Wound™ stranding technology allows us to protect the delicate electrical signal being transferred through our cables.

      Outstanding book
      Format: Kindle
I loved this book so much that I'm sad that I've finished it. The story is fascinating, the characters well developed and the themes were important and heart wrenching. This is definitely one of the best books I ever read. I can't summarize the story without spoilers and I would not want to deny you the opportunity to enjoy the unfolding of this beautiful story. This is a book I will not forget and I look forward to Kathryn Society's next wonderful book. She is a tremendous author. Thank you Kathryn for the gift of this book!

      Worth the Wait
      Format: Kindle
Kathryn Stockett's The Calamity Club is well worth the wait, just as good or even better than The Help. This historical novel has all the literary ingredients to be added to the classics. This book is both engaging and horrifying since it reveals the cruel beliefs in Mississippi's past and explains the rigid mind-set of contemporary politics and culture. I was incensed by the ignorance and lack of empathy. However, as throughout history, the theme of women helping other women gave the story conflict, suspense, and lots of humor. The characters and plot are so engaging I would like a follow-up story, maybe a part two. I am ready for a movie version, if Meg and Birdie are well cast. The Calamity Club was worth the wait!

      Entertaining
      Format: Kindle
I read this book on Kindle in about 3 days. Birdie Calhoun, one of the main narrators, has got to be one of the most likable main characters a book could create. She’s practical, God-fearing, driven, smart, and loyal. Meg, the second narrator, is witty and humorous to listen to, especially since you’re seeing things through the eyes of an eleven year old orphan. There are a few big reveals throughout the book, and around the midpoint there is a shift in storyline which will tell you how the book got its name. I saw some reviews say the book is a bit long, which doesn’t bother me. I see how the length may be necessary given the fact that the author had to bounce between two separate story lines and then merge them in the end. My only feedback about the length would be there is a lot of time and detail during the middle of the book (especially Meg’s time with her adoptive family) but less time spent on the ending, leaving things a bit rushed and many characters’ fate ambiguous. I found myself wanting more closure for characters Frances & Mrs. Tartt, as well as the boarders such as Flossy. On a historical level, this book provides context for a dark time in America where society wanted to annex anyone deemed undesirable or peculiar, especially promiscuous women. Society was hyper focused on separating the pious from the “imbeciles” and punished anyone whose lives didn’t fit the perfect Christian mold. This caused characters like Frances and Mrs. Tartt to be obsessed with their reputation, and fear of tainted reputation is a huge factor in decision making amongst the main characters. Birdie, Meg, and Charlie seem to be the main characters willing to take huge risks and sacrifices for those that they love. This book inspired me to do some of my own research and I learned something new about American history.

An incredibly strong and memorable story.
      Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 glorious stars! Though she is big 656 paged girl, she offers so much heart. Lord how I loved this book. The characters were just so good together. Out of hardships, these women bound together for reasons of their own. Some of those reasons were tangled up with the other and none were wiser. Each, making an impact on another. This story offers hope where there’s tragedy, faith to persevere, lasting friendships, and love. Meg’s story of never giving up hope for her mother’s return, held me completely captive. 💖 Thank you Kathryn Stockett for penning a strong and memorable novel. Well done! I’m so pleased to have picked up this book to read and I hope you will too!

      A book that hugs back.
      Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
I picked this book for my brother-in-law when we were celebrating my sister’s pregnancy, and the title ‘Why a daughter needs a dad’ sealed the deal. The illustrations are beautiful and full of tenderness. The messages on each page are simple and meaningful. I could so clearly picture him reading it to his baby girl someday. It’s the kind of book that isn’t just read – it’s felt. A thoughtful gift for someone you love – especially during such a special season of life.
