Even when replacement headliner kits include their own adhesive, I still like having a high-quality automotive adhesive on hand for extra peace of mind. This 3M product has been one of my go-to choices for headliner work because it is specifically designed for automotive environments where materials are exposed to extreme summer heat and winter cold. The last thing anyone wants is to spend time installing a headliner only to have corners start sagging or sections pull away months later. The spray pattern is consistent, the adhesion is strong, and it provides the confidence that the installation will hold up long-term. I have found it especially useful for Jeep hardtops, where temperature fluctuations can be much more extreme than in a traditional vehicle.
