Of Air: Mobiles and Stabiles is Lucy Corr who makes small mobile and stabile sculptures at home using found materials and recycled everyday objects, working mostly with wood and metal. Her sculptures draw on the natural and urban landscape around her in London and she uses them to explore ideas of memory and time, for example, collaging images from old magazines and postcards and creating strange new juxtapositions by turning them into mobiles. Lucy forms metal shapes around stones and pebbles, collects fallen objects from the street and from parks and aims to reuse and repurpose forgotten or discarded things into something beautiful. She makes mobiles and stabiles which become moving collages and poems.
