Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz is a premium red wine that has gained a worldwide reputation for its outstanding quality and complexity. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes, sourced from some of the best vineyards in South Australia.
On the nose, the Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz presents aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cherry, complemented by notes of vanilla, cedar, and chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with a fine tannin structure that provides excellent length and depth.
The Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes are carefully selected and matured separately in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months before blending to achieve a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The result is a wine with great aging potential, which will continue to improve over the next 10 to 20 years.
The Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz is an ideal pairing for red meat dishes, such as steak or lamb, as well as rich stews and casseroles. It can also be enjoyed on its own as a special treat or as part of a wine tasting experience.
