Once slotted into the back of the ATEM chassis, you spin the ring to mechanically lock the power cord to the camera panel thread.

Strict Backward Compatibility Cross-Check
⚠️ Over-Amperage vs. Voltage Safety: Because this brick regulates a strict 12V DC, it is technically safe to plug into smaller, legacy 12V ATEM switchers (like a standard 36W or 60W Extreme G1 unit). The device will only draw the amperage it requires. However, you should NEVER attempt to run a new ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 on an old 60W or 36W adapter—doing so will cause the older power supply to rapidly overheat, drop voltage under load, and cause the G2 switcher to randomly reboot or corrupt connected SSD drives midway through a live stream.
