The mash bill for this bourbon is 64 percent corn, 24 percent wheat, and 12 percent malted barley, making it one of the highest ratios of wheat used in a Kentucky-made bourbon. After distillation, the distillate is barreled in a #4 char barrel at 110 proof, having come off the still around 137 proof. The bourbon is aged in Rickhouse A, a two-story building with moving floors each year of maturation.
On the nose, this bourbon offers a pleasant mix of sweet grain and savory notes, with hints of buttery salted caramel and cinnamon rolls. The palate is thick and oily, with flavors of buttered popcorn, chewy caramel, and polished wood.
