For eight years it has been my privilege to broadcast the gospel message both in sermon and in song over radio station WADC, Akron, Ohio, each Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 1:30. From the beginning, the Zion Male Quartet, consisting now of D. Sidney Warner, J. Roy Hoge, Dennis Ferguson, and A. Ross Hoge, has been a feature of the programs. Sidney is the only son of the late D. S. Warner. Mrs. Gladys H. Roark has been accompanist for the quartet the past four years. Other singers from the Eleventh Street Church of God in Canton, Ohio, have assisted at various times, and many visiting ministers have contributed valuable aid. 

The broadcast known as the Church of God Religious Program is sponsored by the churches of northeastern Ohio, and by individual friends of the gospel who have sent in their contributions. However, no member of the radio group has received any remuneration for his work during the whole eight years. All have given their services free that there might be finances with which to buy time on the air. We greatly appreciate the help our friends have given us.

During this time literally hundreds of people have written in requesting songs and expressing appreciation for the broadcasts. Most of these letters have come from Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan, and Canada. Other numbers have written asking for copies or outlines of the sermons delivered. To comply iv]]with this request, I have prepared this book containing twenty-six of these radio sermons. It is my earnest prayer that the messages contained herein may prove helpful to those who read them.
