Stuart Nicholson wrote in the BBC Music magazine of the "Rarum" series: "... selected by the artists themselves, this series is of enormous importance in revealing the breadth of each artist's work, as much for the converted as the unconverted looking for a window into the remarkable ECM catalogue". The complexity of Brazil, it's interweaving of cultures, finds it's echo in the music of Egberto Gismonti who draws on resources both "sophisticated" and "primitive"- from European classical music to the samba school to the music of the Xingu Indians and the sounds of the rainforest, from folk musics, from jazz. Highly trained as a pianist, Gismonti adapted pianistic technique in innovative manner on his customised 8- and 10- and 14-string guitars. It is his guitar artistry which is at the forefront of his : rarum collection.

Not bad. Not great.

This was very heavy. It wasn't too hard to assemble but you do need two people. Sadly did not help with the noise I was hoping it would. For the money I spent I was hoping for more.

It has no sound insulation function at all

I purchased this soundproof partition with the expectation of creating an independent and quiet office environment. However, the product does not deliver effective sound insulation. The ambient conversation noise outside the partition measures 50 decibels, and the noise level inside remains unchanged at 50 decibels. Given this lack of performance, I would like to inquire about the actual acoustic value of this partition. This constitutes a clear case of misleading advertising.

The acoustic panels are quite thick at about 1/2in thick and help reduce noise. Its neutral color and design blends well with most office interiors. Overall, this partition is a convenient and effective choice for temporary or flexible workspace layouts.

Great quality, easy to set up.

I actually have this in my bedroom, replaced a non acoustic panel with it. These make a huge difference. As someone who is always playing music on their speakers I don't want to bother my roommates too much. Easily can hear the difference once these were in place. The panel itself is high quality and thick, what's a really nice detail is how they are attached together, there are multiple wedges just like foam noise dampeners which is super cool! This thing is easy to move around and can be folded for storage with ease. You get extra screws just in case you lose any, the feet are made out of metal which adds to the quality. There was a very slight chemical smell when taking it out the box, however that went away in just a few hours.
I can imagine using this in a noisy office, surrounding yourself with these in a cube shape will make all the difference to focus on your work. These panels are great and if you're looking for quality, I'd say you can pick these up without worry. No issues on my end!
